On Oct 11, a total of 20 brand-new pure electric vehicles made in Southwest China's Guizhou province, valued at approximately 5 million yuan ($701,915), departed from the Gui'an Free Trade Zone for export to Nepal, marking yet another expansion of Guizhou's new energy vehicles into South Asia.

This batch of vehicles was exported by Guizhou Hongtutong International Trade Co, which had already exported 12 Gui'an-made new energy buses through the Gui'an Free Trade Zone in April, with an export value of about 6 million yuan. Ke Li, a foreign trade staff member of the company, highlighted the continuously optimized "smart bonded + smart logistics" system of the free trade zone, which has allowed the company to experience the convenience of conducting global trade locally. He also mentioned that the company has scheduled another 20 pure electric minibuses and two pure electric tourist vehicles for customs clearance and export from this zone.
The export of these new energy vehicles is not only a remarkable showcase of Guizhou's manufacturing capabilities but also demonstrates Guizhou's steady and accelerated integration into the global market. Moving forward, the Gui'an Free Trade Zone will continue to accelerate the integrated development of the "platform + channel + industry" model and strive to strengthen and expand the cross-border logistics road freight project.
