In this concert, the singers will perform 15 outstanding Chinese musical pieces, while 13 pieces are adaptations of Tang poetry, including works like Invitation to Wine, Thoughts on a Tranquil Night, and Yellow Crane Tower, infusing new artistic vitality into the ancient verses through modern music. This concert not only highlights the allure of China's rich traditional culture but also enhances Guiyang's image as a "City of Music", showcasing Guizhou's openness to the world.
Since its inception 16 years ago, the Guiyang Symphony Orchestra has collaborated with over 100 renowned conductors, soloists, and singers from China and abroad, with performances held in numerous cities both domestically and internationally. In August, the orchestra was invited to participate in prestigious international music festivals in several European countries, where its high-caliber performances received high praise from European professionals and the public alike.
