Guiyang holds cultural and tourism innovation event

Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, held an event focusing on cultural and tourism innovation on Dec 19. The event brought together more than 10 independent content creators from across the country, along with Guiyang-based entrepreneurs involved in emerging business sectors such as boutique coffee, tea, craft beer, and cultural and creative brands. They engaged in in-depth discussions on topics related to winter cultural tourism development, aiming to enhance the influence of the "Cool Guiyang" brand.

The event focused on topics such as "how to further enhance the 'Cool Guiyang' brand during winter" and "how to leverage new business formats, models, and scenarios to tell the story of Guiyang's vibrant life". One blogger noted that in recent years, Guiyang has undergone significant development, transforming from a mere travel transit place into a destination worthy of in-depth exploration. The variety of available activities has significantly increased, encouraging tourists to allocate more time to their Guiyang visits.

In recent years, Guiyang has focused on developing diverse new consumption opportunities, including the City of Music, day and night consumption, and urban roaming. The city has also explored innovative development models for boutique coffee, craft beer, exquisite dining, and creative cultural products, promoting the high-quality development of the cultural and tourism industries.
