During the sixth session of the 15th Guiyang Municipal People's Congress from Jan 19 to 21, deputies put forward suggestions, responded to people's livelihood needs, and submitted a total of 280 proposals.

For industrial foundation construction, the deputies offered opinions on advantageous mineral processing, advanced equipment manufacturing, modern mountain agriculture, and industries related to the "Cool Guiyang" city brand. 

For new quality productive forces, they put forward suggestions focused on enhancing computing power, integrating scientific and technological innovation with industry, and introducing, cultivating, employing, and retaining talent.

To deepen reforms, the deputies proposed diversifying consumption, cultivating new investment growth drivers, constructing national logistics hubs, reforming State-owned enterprises, market-based allocation of production factors, and optimizing the business environment. 

They also offered opinions on shaping urban characteristics and guiding population agglomeration, focusing on opening-up, urban development, and the integrated development of urban and rural areas. 

Other proposals included promoting city spirit, safeguarding people's livelihoods in areas such as education and healthcare, building a low-carbon and livable environment, and upholding bottom lines for transportation, fire protection, and food and medicine supervision, thereby covering all crucial development fields.
