On Feb 22, Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport's single-day passenger traffic during the Spring Festival travel rush reached 80,269, setting a new record for single-day passenger traffic during the Spring Festival travel period.

The airport's previous single-day passenger traffic peaks during the Spring Festival travel rush were 76,013 on Feb 15, 2024, and 73,553 on Feb 4, 2025.

To ensure efficient travel for passengers during the Spring Festival rush, the airport has increased the frequency of flights to cities such as Zhengzhou, Wenzhou, Nanjing, Shanghai, Wuhan, and Quanzhou, and deployed twin-aisle wide-body aircrafts on routes to Sanya, Lanzhou, and other destinations. The most popular travel destinations were Beijing, Shanghai, Wenzhou, Hangzhou, Zhengzhou, Nanjing, and Haikou.
