The "2026 China Top 100 Cities Index", exclusively compiled by the urban index research institution GYBrand, was recently released, with Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, ranking among second-tier cities.

The list covers regions across 29 provinces in China. The index focuses on 10 indicators: economic strength, infrastructure, governance efficiency, medical and educational resources, cultural exchange, business environment, development potential, innovation vitality, brand leadership, and international reputation. It showcases the latest practices and achievements in high-quality development among China's top 100 cities.
