On March 20, the Guizhou-Lancang-Mekong Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference was held in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

Officials and business representatives from the embassies of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand in China were invited to present the core industrial policies, key cooperation projects, and import-export needs of the Lancang-Mekong countries. The exchange saw nearly 200 key enterprises from the province, including central enterprises, state-owned enterprises, and private enterprises, engaging deeply with representatives from the Lancang-Mekong countries to obtain relevant policy information and establish regular communication mechanisms.

A special section was dedicated to promoting facilitation policies to support Guizhou enterprises in "going global", offering practical information on applying for APEC Business Travel Cards, travel safety guidelines, and the distribution of consular protection materials.
