Guizhou Jinqian Yuchun Tea Co, located in the Gui'an Free Trade Zone in Southwest China's Guizhou province, is preparing to ship batches of green tea to Morocco.
The company moved into the zone in 2023 and officially began production in 2024, equipped with a fully automated intelligent production line. In the first quarter of this year, the company produced 1,260 metric tons of tea, valued at 25 million yuan ($3.67 million). The tea produced by the company has been exported to multiple countries in Africa and Central Asia. The current daily production capacity is stable at 12 to 15 tons, while the company's annual production target for 2026 is 2,500 tons, with an expected output value exceeding 60 million yuan.

The company is planning to build a storage warehouse in Morocco and is currently in the process of obtaining local permits. The first batch of goods is expected to be shipped to the storage warehouse by June. Building the warehouse will not only mitigate the risks of international trade disputes and ensure the security and quick return of funds but also directly serve local small and medium-sized dealers without import qualifications.
