Rongyun Robot, a technology company located in the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) in Southwest China's Guizhou province, has secured a number of orders from the Southeast Asian and European markets over the past month, becoming Guizhou's first brand to achieve the large-scale export of community delivery robots.
In March of this year, the company's first batch of six community delivery AI robots was shipped to Malaysia and Singapore, marking a breakthrough for Guizhou in large-scale exports of this category. It also signed a strategic procurement agreement for 1,000 units with the largest AI institution in Southeast Asia, while European clients actively sought collaboration just a month later.
Southeast Asian countries experience high temperatures year-round, while extreme cold is common in the European market, especially in Northern Europe, posing significant challenges to the stable operation of robots. The company addressed market demands by overcoming the technical challenges of operating in a wide temperature range from -40 C to 60 C. Meanwhile, the second-generation R6S water delivery robot, released in late April, weighs 27 kilograms less and offers an 18 percent increase in endurance, significantly improving the user experience.
Additionally, the company adheres to full-stack self-research of integrated hardware and software, keeping the total cost of the machine at less than 30 percent of similar products, rapidly converting extreme cost-effectiveness into market competitiveness. Domestically, the company has secured over 5.3 million yuan ($781,595) in water delivery robot orders, while overseas clients have moved from trials to bulk purchases.
