On May 27, Guiyang Foreign Affairs Office, in collaboration with Guiyang University, and the Higher Academy for Language Mediators (SSML) in Vicenza, Italy, held an online exchange meeting to deepen bilateral cooperation in education.

The Italian side introduced student exchange, remote teaching, and the K131 funded exchange program, which offers 10-15 exchange spots annually. Guiyang University proposed hiring foreign teachers and plans to sign a memorandum of cooperation with SSML. Guiyang Foreign Affairs Office proposed cooperation plans focusing on international sister city summer camps, the Guiyang City Football Invitational, two-way short-term study tours, and foreign language talent training.

Moving forward, the two sides will refine the cooperation plans and accelerate the implementation of various projects to support the high-quality development of education in Guiyang.
