Since the beginning of this year, Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport of Southwest China's Guizhou province has seen over 52,000 entries and exits by overseas tourists, marking a 48.6 percent year-on-year increase.

This year, Guizhou will launch 20 inbound tourism routes from Guiyang to cities like Bangkok, Singapore, Almaty, and Ulaanbaatar. Additionally, travelers from 54 countries, including the United States, Japan, and South Korea, can enjoy visa-free stays of up to 10 days with a connecting flight ticket.

"The Yelang Valley is the most unique place I have experienced in China," said Li Yuyan, a tour guide from Malaysia, "Visitors responded well, the trip was really worth it!" Five direct flight routes from Guiyang to Malaysia have fully opened this year. Previously, most flights between the two places required transfers, often taking more than 10 hours. Now, direct flights take only four to five hours.

"I introduced Guiyang's Qingyan Ancient Town and the snack rice tofu on a South Korean variety show. And South Korean visitors were especially attracted by Guizhou's Miao ethnic wedding customs and had a strong desire to visit," said Jiang Lizi, a bilingual Korean-Chinese host from Guizhou.
